Well i've seen two demo places in the netherlands and the time it takes to really set up, get everything going, be on the right distance and everything, before one guy is done 3 are waiting and eventually someone will get sick and start complaining, someone else will start using the move things and complain its not registering right etcetc
I would proberbly pay for the support I had personally at gamescon where there was someone helping you to make sure you get the things right, use it correctly and get a good feel for the VR headset, which I did get there.
I would deff not mind paying a little before investing 400 or for some people maybe more then that if they dont have a ps4
