I think they wanted to show the focus was on traditional controlls, it would be insane if it doesn't have a touch screen because typing is so much easier with a touch screen even if games wouldn't use it

The thing about that is, nintendo never refered to it as a tablet.

I don't know. Could be smart if they want something like Hearthstone though. Personally I'm fine either way.

But those are laptops. They have mouse pads. Name me 3 tablets without a touchscreens.
