Yeah, reception is being surprisingly good. I mean, it's the Internet, it should have been way worse xD. And, yeah, since that Super Bowl ad, marketng is being really good. Teaming with Apple, now making a great Switch preview trailer... Exciting times indeed.

It means that if it was a fail the views I given it would be much lower = Total Views will be lower than what we are seeing.
It only been released in less than 24 hours, with having over 300k likes and 11k dislikes. Can't say if it was a fail for the broader audience.

Don't answer so seriously to a obvious joke! I even put a smiley at the end to be sure it wouldn't be taken seriously...
More seriously now: the "success" of this video is obvious but useless without the follow-up. If they don't announce anything for months (that's what the WSJ is saying) or if the next information (price, power, games) are bad, the backslash could be pretty bad.

The concept is pretty clear to any person with two eyes imo. They could have called it "our new supercalifragilixticespialidous" and the trailer would make abundantly clear what the console is. C'mon.

Basically, trailer is very clear and very easy to understant about what Switch is.
Huge part of consumers does not read Nintendo PR statements at all.

No word about battery life.
No word about touch-control.
No word about motion control for Joy-Cons.
No word about if Puppy-head and pro controller bundles with the console or not.
No word about region lock.
No word about actual games.
No word about support of wiimotes and Wii U gamepads.
