It's notably down on last year at this point, and last year was producing consistent 10k+ weeks around this time.

Given how the 3DS is in its final year, and there are barely any games are coming for it (Pokemon SM is the only 3DS game at COMG right now) i think its doing very well. 

That's what I just said.  I was saying beating 20k isn't good but being up near 30k is. 

Amazing, PS VR and the VR games opened with an awesome first week!!! And PS4 is still at 30k+!!!
PS Vita isn't doing bad, but I really hope for a strong week in the World of Final Fantasy release week!
Overall very happy with the current Playstation situation!

It is normal for October to have huge drops and comparing it proportionally to other years, I would say the drop is less severe. If only because the earlier months were already bad.

Vita is an aging console, so it is expected to be down yoy every year from now on.

Lol! And Im trying to say that doing 20k is quite good because of those reasons. 

Looks like Paper Mario is not selling good, Intelligent System will have to find new gimmicks for the next game.
That is the fate of almost any game released on Wii U anyway

I disagree that 20k is good. You can make the excuses why it could be doing that but if it was I'd say there's no reason the console couldn't still be getting a ton of titles to keep up sales. 

The PSP,  PS3 and ps2 showed you can still get awesome support late in a consoles life.
