Vita hasn't been doing good lately. I guess not much games are coming lately. But I guess SAO can pick things up soon. 

Lol vita hasnt been doing good. And 20k isn't a good benchmark for 3DS either.  However it's current sales around 28k are good. 

Given how the 3DS is in its final year, and there are barely any games are coming for it (Pokemon SM is the only 3DS game at COMG right now) i think its doing very well.
