1. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Diamond is Unbreakable

Is Jojo, nuff said. Always a joy to watch, entertaining characters, great music, great sense of style, just great everything.

2. Kill la Kill

Over the top, excellent pace, fantastic soundtrack, great characters, I love the animation and artstyle, just everything I could want in an anime, is there.

3. Yu-Gi-Oh!

Saving the world with card games, good stuff.

Around the Network

Current:

Pretty stylish with great characters. Some episodes are so dull and bizarre that makes it great.

All time:

The first 6 episodes are best of the best. Better than most live action drama

When i was a kid:

greek mitology plus self sacrifice = instant classic

1. Noragami

A pretty unique setting with excellent animation, good characters, good world building, amazing sountrack and one of the very few anime that actually makes me laugh. It starts out feeling cliche in the first couple episodes until we start learning who the main character is and how hes trying to forget his past. I won't say anything else other than the main character is one of many Japanese gods that you will see throughout the series.

2. Hunter X Hunter

This was a really hard pick since there are so many out there that I like but Hunter x Hunter just really stuck out. Everything about it is practically prefect and is everything I want out of an anime. Top notch animation, characters, world building, soundtrack and no bullshit shonen tropes.

3. Ruroni Kenshin

This anime was THE fucking shit. I remember coming home every Thursday evening to watch it and would be so fucking pissed if I ever missed it. One of the greatest classics too.

Current: I'm trying to watch Parasyte, but I'm not good at it

All time: Digimon Adventure 01. Having grown up, I find it very relatable and much deeper than just a kids show.

As a kid: Probably Inuyasha. I dont remember much about it, just that I was always excited to watch it at 4 PM after school... good times.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Ok, here are the rules: You answer the two parts of each question, and post pictures for Awesomeness Points:

1 - Current favorite Anime. Why?

2 - Favorite Anime of all time. Why?

3 - Favorite Anime as a child. Why?

I start:

1 - Current: Sword Art Online. Because it is such a interesting idea and it is pretty sober in tone, I love soberty in animes.

2 - All time: Death Note. Because it is just a amazing story, killing people by writting their name, the power and the consequences of it.

3 - As a kid: Robotech. Fell in love with Mimei and loved the giant robots, also love the apocalyptical setting of a war with a alien superespecies. Also, it looked so much better than the american cartoons I was used with (there were no brazilian cartoons back in the day).

1. Current favorite is Naruto Shippuden.

2. Favorite all time is Death Note or Naruto

3. This is pretty embarrassing, but Bobobo-bo bobo-bo was my favorite anime. Yes, a show where crossdressing jokes with a dude who had nose hair powers was my favorite show as a kid.

They even joked about Dragon Ball Z. Lmfao

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Current - Hrm...this is tough, since I watch a lot of seasonal shows, and not many long-running ones anymore. My answer is probably Shokugeki no Souma or Gintama, even though neither are airing right now. Can't forget Jojo's Bizarre Adventure either.

All-time - This is tough. I'll probably think of something else later, but Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Toradora, and Hunter x Hunter are all shows I look fondly on long after they've ended, and can only pick out a few actual flaws in any of them. I have plenty of other anime I might care more about at the time, but these three really remain strong for me.

Kid - Dragonball Z or Naruto probably. I know...shameful.

Don't see what's so shameful.

Don't feel bad though. I know people from my generation who grew up watching cheesy romance anime dramas. :P Nothing to be ashamed of for watching Naruto/DBZ

Pretty sure we've had this conversation already Hershel.

But true...opinions are opinions.

1. Current Favorite: Mob Psycho 100

Probably my favorite show of the summer season, it was a great ride that not only had great humor, but some decent heart-to-heart moments as well.  Also that Bones animation is crisp

All-Time Favorite: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

I was a big fan of the manga, and it was one of the manga that got me into the medium, and getting to see the whole thing animated was great.  Intense action scenes, well-developed characters and a world full of life made this one of my personal favorites

Favorite as a kid: Yu-Gi-Oh

When I was a kid, I was really into the card game, and to go along with it I loved the show as well, even just to see different cards animated for me to see.  Elements of it don't hold up as well today, like the voice acting and the rules are inconsistent as hell, but it's still a nostalgia trip whenever I watch it.

I don't recall talking about Naruto/DBZ with you

Oh really?

I wasn't referring to Dragonball Z. I have no interest in it now, but I can appreciate how much of a formative series it was for me at the time. I certainly can't say the same for the other.
