Want to know which PS4 Pro games are getting a 4K upgrade? Check out the PS4 Pro games list! Though there’s still many games yet to be announced that will support the graphical boost on Sony’s new hardware, the initial batch of new titles and older games receiving a patch have been confirmed.

PS4 Pro was revealed at Sony’s livestream event in New York last week, confirming a November release date and full specifications. The model will feature a boosted CPU and GPU enabling supported games to benefit from a visual upgrade. It's also likely that some PS4 Pro games will run at smoother frame-rates.

In order to run 4K games on your PS4 Pro you’re going to need a compatible 4K TV, though some titles will also support HDR, which will be available on all PlayStation 4 models via firmware update 4.0.

Additionally, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Paragon, and The Witness will be receiving 1080p support.

Sony has said that all PS4 patches for upgrades will be free.

PS4 games that won't be getting an update

PS4 Pro release date

PS4 Pro will launch on November 10, 2016, priced $399 (£359) and will support all existing PS4 games. Another new version of Sony's console, the PS4 Slim, launches on September 15, though the specs of the boosted Pro offer a significant difference.

Personal Comment: According to the supported list above, 4 of those titles I'm looking forward to.

EDIT: Others confirmed from other sources:

@SuckerPunchProd First Light was shown on PS4 Pro, will Second Son have enhancements too?

Ratchet & Clank was also confirmed:

Thanks, Boutros!!!

Considering how far from launch we still are, that's quite a good list. Too bad about witcher 3.

That's grown a little since I posted the list. I'm sure it will grow a little more before the Pro launches.

Cause the game rocks. Period.

And them lights!!!

But why not Second Son? This was just an expansion...

So if I am reading this right, the listed games are only getting the "Forward Compatibility" patch to add Upscaled 4K and HDR, while only ME:SOM, Paragon, and The Witness will get 1080p benefits?!?

If this is indeed the case I am very unhappy with the PS4: PRO implementation.

Maybe this is just a trial to see if it's worth adding Pro mode to certain PS4 titles? TLOUR was a shoe in but this title is a little more 'risky' if you get my drift. Shadow of Mordor is also a tester in my opinion. Whether these titles see a decent surge in sales will decide if more older titles receive a patch.

Yeah, that does make sense. I would just think Sony would do this to every one of their own titles.

Think HDR, smaller title, less work, and what it is about Infamous that makes it stand out from most ... NEON.

You want to demo HDR/4K? What better title?

Quite a list seeing as the Pro is still months away from release.
