I like Katy Perry but I have to agree with the majority here and say that was "ok".

Very forgettable track for me, definitely not the best song this year.

Any song that is as manufactured and contrived as "Rise" doesn't deserve to even be CALLED a song. It's nothing but product... no art to be found. Written by a professional song writter like Max Martin to make money. Totally void of meaning and soul...
