If the Neo can be $400 this year, I think the Scorpio should be the same.

Eh, I doubt it. I'm thinking $500 if they don't wanna eat a loss.

I think it will be $399.99. All it is is a Polaris 11 which is a 5.5 TFLOP processor clocked up a bit. A Polaris 11 is a cheap GPU.

MS learned their lesson with the XBOne launch, Scorpio is basically the apology console.

The power gap will be obvious but so will the price tag which will mean less sales.

The Pro will sell a lot more for sure.

By which time PS4Pro will be $300. I forsee a fairly rapid price reduction schedule for the Pro, since it is not all shiny new fandangled technology just a moderate upgrade. So the price cut cycle should be shorter than for a newly minted generation.

Next years E3 for Microsoft will be huge, they can sell people on their console. I think Sony didn't have the best showing yesterday, they could do better.

PS4 is still winning obviously, even just with the slim, they didn't need the pro to "win" the difference is clear. But Microsoft definitely has a change to win gamers back.

Well, in terms of TFlops, ps4 is 50% more powerfull than Xbox One
And Scorpio is 50% more than PS4 Pro.
So, the same advantage PS4 had comparing to One.
Is that big obvious difference that everyone would notice?

They shouldn't worry. They definitely have the 4K Blu-ray market covered. 🙄

Now if they take out that TV input, then we may have a problem.

Don't wanna post a wall or derail the thread, so please refer to a similar conversation I had on this topic earlier.

Doubt it (unless they're willing to eat a loss). Microsoft is much more capable of eating a loss, and a GPU with 6-8tflops shouldn't be much more expensive by the time the scorpio releases (the RX 480 is almost 6tflops and only $200).

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

So, the resolution war has begun.

Unless MS F* up PlayStation 3 style or they decide for a budget hardware as Sony the power gap will be massive.

I hope the Scorpio is a true Premium machine for enthusiasts. For every day work the XOS is good enough for a few more years.
