Blizzard are No1 this week, but it is not their new World of Warcraft expansion Legion which tops the chart.
Instead their hugely popular online FPS ‘Overwatch’ (+24%) bounces back to No1 following a recent price drop. It is the fourth week ‘Overwatch’ has claimed top spot, after unseating Uncharted 4 back in week 21. No other Blizzard developed title has spent more weeks at No1, let alone reclaimed the crown. Launched on Tuesday, boxed sales of ‘World of Warcraft: Legion’ fall short of previous expansion Warlords of Draenor, but it is still this week’s highest new entry, debuting at No3 behind ‘Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’ ( -72%) which slips one place to No2. ‘F1 2016’ (-29%) slides two places to No4 while ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ (+1%) creeps up one place to No5. ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (+18%) is still proving hugely popular, up 3 places to No6, while ‘No Man’s Sky’ (-36%) nosedives 4 places to No7. ‘Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ (+1%) drops one place to No8 ahead of ‘Rocket League’ (+12%) which re-enters the Top 10, up 2 places to No9. In its second week ‘Madden NFL 17’ (-54%) falls from No5 to No10. A retailer promotion kicks ‘Disney Infinity 3.0’ (+194%) up from No30 to No11 and helps propel ‘Rock Band 4’ (+215%) back in to the Top 40 at No27.
There are new entries for several other titles launched on Tuesday with ‘The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition’ debuting at No17 and ‘God Eater 2: Rage Burst’ new at No21.
