Did anyone notice banding in the sky in the day and night in the Duscae demo?

My favorite experience with a 3D game was OOT on the original N64 and the resolution/frame rate for that game is absolutely disgraceful. I think 900P and 28FPS is just fine and anyone who complains needs to rethink their priorities.

Playing Pong was completely fine in the 70s. I think people expecting better standards than that in 2016 need to rethink their priorities.

That's fine and you can disagree but for me? To borrow a line, "the name of the game is the game". If FF 15 is great, not many people are going to care what the hell the framerate or resolution is.

The priority should be the games quality, not the graphics.

This is why I want XV on PC. That glorious, buttery-smooth 60fps.

I assume you would have no problem then playing it at 480x320 and 10 fps? I mean it's still playable, it doesn'the matter if it feels and looks horrible as long as the core game play is solid, right?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Framerate is very important though. For example, try playing Perfect Dark on the N64 and then try the 360 version of the same game, it almost feels like a different game!

I don't get it.... every single FF game has suffered in the framerate Dept. Hell we can even say every square Enix game with exception to deus ex.

why should anyone expect FF to be different?

I have lots of respect and admiration for Tabata. That's all I have to say.

I don't believe this to be a true statement. I recall FFXIII being pretty a constant 30Fps but I could be wrong. FPS was never a issue for the turn based games.

FF13? a constant 30fps? Yes you are wrong. Its jist that then the gaming world wasn't as obsessed with rez and frames as they are today. When the level of tech we are at offers parity accross massive price ranges, the only way to differentiate things is to focus on ever smaller things like AA, rez, framerate....etc. All of a sudden, those arbitrary things that gamers didn't even know about 10yrs ago have now become the defacto facets of game design.

For the most part tho FF13 did maintain a locked 30fps.... but it was a very dofferent kinda game from what FF15 is. And even at that whenever something with lost fk effects was happenning the framerate will drop to the low 20s.... some probably thought that was some cool slow Mo effect.

What is dynamic resolution? Will the reso change while playing? I think thats annoiyng when the graphics quality changes all the time.
