Wow, OP. I'm very focused on gender equality, but the way you pick this game apart smacks of douchebaggery rather than legitimate concern for the portrayal of genders from an era when having this much story in a game was unusual, anyway.

Marin isn't in A Link to the Past, so no matter how she is, it doesn't directly apply to the topic at hand.
