I did it! Hours of gaming have come to this! While it still isn't insanely large, its still impressive nonetheless. And I will shamelessly admit that the achievement that got me to 30,000 gamerscore was in Fifa 15 (which also got me too 10,000 gamerscore :)). How far am I willing to go? Well I guess we'll have to wait and see.

 

Edit: Didn't know this think updated automatically, but I now have 30,010 gamerscore. :P

Edit 2: I've been on a gamerscore streak recently. These past two days have netted me almost 500GS. Not too shabby...



Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

LOL. Seriously though, I bought a 360 in 06, and almost never used it for years (busy with high school). Only got back into gaming in 2012, and  didn't even play that much till I got my Xbox One in 2014. So yeah, being an avid xbox fanboy doesn't mean we have all the time in the world.

congratz I guess, I really am happy I have never cared about gamerscore, achievements or trophies because I have really seen them ruin games for other people lol.

I just hit 130K recently.

But I generally dont play a single game for many hours. Your score goes up faster by playing more versus trying to unlock time consuming achievments.

Thats what I hate about trophies. People spend many hours playing games just to get a platinum. It makes the other trophies feel useless in comparison, I dont care about that on Playstation.

With achievments though, its just score that keeps growing and it will go up faster if you simply complete more games. Im not spending countless hours just trying to hit the only trophy that matters.

Agreed. Plus the achievement system seems so much more thought out than the Trophy system on Playstation.
