I don't think that will affect story, main point of that "you can right away to final boss if you want" is that game gives you complete freedom, not that game don't have story.

Its almost certain that want have.

Deserved. The game looks great. Have it preordered for Wii U. Will maybe change it to NX.

Sorry for the off topic but that victim role has been done to death.

I'm not playing the victim card, but it was particularly hilarious that Zelda won every award at E3 this year and people declared said awards worthless even though in the past some of those same had celebrated them when attached to games they liked.  I find it amusing more than anything else :P

I see where you are coming from, but I feel like this change of direction kinda needed to happen. There was so much Nintendo could have done with yet another game that uses the OoT formula.

Seems everyone is placing their bets on Breath of the Wild, there shurely is a huge pressure on the developers to deliver with this game, but then again Zelda is't one of the best gaming series ever for no reason...

WOW! And from what I heard, the game wasn't even shown like it was at E3. IGN's Nintendo Voice Chat said you had to sneak around to find the demo area. This is insane. #1 most anticipated game of 2017, already. The only thing that would rival it for me is Chrono Trigger HD Remake so get on it Square!

Actually the game seems more like the original LOZ game that started the whole sandbox genre to begin with. Only difference is that this time the player is given absolute freedom something no sand box game has as here you can go straight to the final battle if you want.
