I heard it was very bland and dry
I was so hyped i wanted to cry

After scouring the galaxy for many an hour
In search of my paradise, a place to call 'Home'
I stumbled across one lonely old planet
Filled to the brim, with the lushest biome

Forests of palm trees, craggy old bays
Blistering sands caressed by the sea
Caverns that burrow deep in the earth at my feet
Now I wait for base building in next week's patch 3

Along the journey, I made my way,
Hoping to reach the center someday,
I checked my map and said 'Whoa!'
155k Light Years Left To Go!

But I noticed I had trouble aimin'
To an extent I felt was shamin',
As regardless of the direction I'd go,
My advance center-bound seemed woefully slow,

So opened the map and away I went,
Scrollin forwards, rather hell-bent,
Tryin to see if maybe I'd spot,
A manner to accelerate my ambling trot.

Faster and faster I whooshed through the scape,
Stars tumblin' past at a rapid ol' rate,
Finally reached the near-finish, at which point I'd find;

A great effort that's humbled your host.

As the expectations got too high,
Sean Murray began to lie
Fans from all over bought the game
but soon their hopes were put to shame.

They looked everywhere they could
for the game they were promised
but soon started to think
maybe was Sean being dishonest

As desperation grew bigger and bigger
some fans decided to dig deeper
they took to the games files for what was buried
only to find what they had worried.

It was all a lie
in every blink of the eye
no multiplayer in sight
this wasn't right

They took to twitter to get some answers
but Sean Murray stayed vague
fans annoyance began to grow
just as the dissapointment began to show.

Lists grew and grew
of what wasn't in the game
as did the refunds from people
who thought it was lame.

The damage had been done
all we can do is sigh
for what we have now
is One Man's Lie.
