Hi friends!

Does your country have the Death Penalty in the Penal Codex? Which country do you live in? Do you think the Death Penalty works as a mean of preventing crimes?

My country is Brazil, we do not have the Death Penalty and I do not think it should have it either. But I do not know if it works as a crime preventing tool.

Thanks for commenting =)

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I live in Brazil, and... No.

Also, I'm totally against it.

EDIT: Oh, you are brazilian too... Just noticed it.

And yes, the US has the death penalty. It shouldn't, but it does.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Canada and nope

I believe the only first world countries that currently have it are the US and Japan

As I'm also a brazilian, you made this thread pointless to me to reply at, so I'm cleverly making my way around the subject by pointing to something else and talking about it so I can still post anyway, because I already clicked on the thread without knowing it was made by another brazilian, and by making my way around it while explaining that I'm doing it, I'm using it and filling my post with content to make it actually have some.

That's about it.

That is indeed pretty clever =)

You mean some states...Am I wrong?

As for Japan, yeah and they defend it strongly when they get scathed for that!

By the way, Japan has very low criminal rate, I wonder if it's because of it... I mean you don't want to risk your life by  commiting a crime, of course for a grave crime ( like murder or rape ) , I don't think you get executed, for example if  you steal jewelery, money e.t.c or burgling.
