Is there anything stopping Trump from becoming God Emperor of mankind?

Forums - General Discussion - Is there anything stopping Trump from becoming God Emperor of mankind?

Who will win

TRUMP 52 42.62%

Hillary 70 57.38%

Total:122

As an outsider imho Hilary is the most likely to become president, still they are both awful candidates, I don't know anything about Sanders but I'm positive he would have been the best president among the three...

The rest of the world?

Yeah a .338 Lapua Magnum straight to the dome.

Who's stopping him from being the emporer of the world? Um, the rest of the world outside of the US?

We all mostly hate the guy.

I really don't think a Hilary presidency would be bad at all, it just wouldn't be flashy. The Clinton years by and large were pretty darn good and stable. No president is perfect.

People are confusing likable with being a good president, one doesn't neccessarily equal the other. Some of Bernie's plans were pie in the sky thinking that would've added trillions of debt. Clinton's tax plan is much more sane and balanced.

Bernie is the most likable of the candidates and the most sincere yes, but that doesn't mean he'd do the best job in actual practice.

Clinton is socially liberal, economically a centrist/realist, and can be a tough bulldog when need be.

I feel the DNC has denied America the Democratic candidate it wanted. Not the candidate the Democrats wanted, but the one most of America wanted.

If most of America wanted a different Democratic candidate Clinton wouldn't have got 4 million more votes. The DNC didn't do shit.

Her Presidency would be not all that different from Obama's ideologically speaking. The main difference is that Republicans in congress would be even more determined not to work with her than they were with Obama. And they very rarely came to the table with Obama.

If this is to be believed HRC is a better republican candidate than Trump. It's pretty clear that Trump has a dictator's mindset, since that's the sort of mindset that develops when one has the life he had. But what is interesting is that HRC seems to be about as capitalist as it comes.

No.  The real culprit for Bernie not being the DNC candidate are you and I and everyone else.  A lot of people are talk, a lot of people are wishy washy.  The Hillary people always outnumbered the bernie camp.  That's the reason, and that fact that all the Bernie supporters didn't really vote.  I'm looking at you local weed shop owner who forgot/didn't care enough to vote that day.

Nnnnnnnnope. What stopped Bernie was certain states being allowed to bar independents from voting for democratic seats.

What is an oddity is the fact some states allow independents to be involved in choosing the candidate for a party. IMO it's only members of a party who should be choosing their candidate. It's pretty much how it works in every other country.
