Nice! I really love the suits from Godzilla vs Biollante through to Godzilla vs Destoroyah, and the one from Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. :)

I need to watch the Gamera trilogy again, they were the best giant monster films I've ever seen by far.  If I remember correctly, I bought the blu-ray because of your suggestion.

I've never Godzilla vs. Biollante.  Is that a newer film?

watched only a few movies, but i really like the Godzilla videogame on PS4. Its a good simulator of the movies

Does being a massive fan of Pacific Rim count? I do like Godzilla as well, but in recent history, that is THE movie for me.

Huge Godzilla Fan Here. I have a lot of the movies on DVD and I have been a fan of him before I knew what words were. Also would like to be more excited for the new movie coming out this year but we know so little about it that I can't get too excited about it. I will more than likely see it when it comes in the US though.

Yeah I absolutely adore the Gamera trilogy, I love its more grounded approach to the genre.

Godzilla vs Biollante is the second entry of the franchise's second sub-series, released in 1989.

Pacific Rim is basically a love letter to the kaiju genre, so sure, why not? As a giant monster junkie, I enjoyed it immensely. :)

Whoa, wait, that was Satomi Ishihara in that Godzilla trailer.  One of my favorite Japanese actresses.  I did not know she was involved.

Yep. :) Apparently she plays an agent working for the US.

Excited for both Japanese and American Godzilla films. Loved the King of all Monsters since I was a little kid so it is great seeing him done well.

Belated update:

The new Japanese Godzilla film is getting a limited theatrical run in the US from the 11th to the 19th of October.
