Forums - General Discussion - FBI's decision on hillary Clinton is a joke

And people hate Trump for his unpredictability but these very same people applauding Clinton over him is hilarious when she's just as unpredictable in other ways ...

Look, the GOP has already wasted several years, numerous investigations and $8 million in tax payers dollars on this crap. Isn't it POSSIBLE that she is innocent? In fact, that's all the GOP seems to do: obstruct government.

You heard the GOP is pissed at the FBI, right? They want to launch ANOTHER investigation. It's pointless, it's a waste of time. They're JUST doing it because she's a democrat. Bush deleted 5 million emails, killed 5,000 Americans, and 112,000 Iraqi civilians...but no one gives a shit about that apparently.

Has absolutely nothing to do with the Snowden case. Anyone trying to draw a parallel with that should just stop unless they want to lose credibility. Vastly different situation.

Also, note what the FBI actually said: "administrative sanction," not "legal sanction." An obvious world of difference there. If she were still in office, who knows what would happen. As she is not, there isn't much that they can do.

Also, those with the "liberal corruption", please stop and think rather than parroting your party demagogues. If this had been a Bush, the result would have been the same. Use your brain. Power and money don't give a fuck about your little political bias. Stop being a puppet.

Gotta love the hyperbolic comparisons.

In one election cycle the Dems have become as despicable as the Reps. They think it best to keep lay and beat them at their own game of corruption the people be damned. Shit is crazy. Most people would have went to prison for less than this.
Trump should get on TV and say if Hillary gets away with this crime then Snowden and Julian will receive pardons for him as president, if the rules don't apply to her, then they should not be applied to anyone.

Yeah, the decision is BS. They basically came right out and said she was getting preferential treatment by saying that if somebody else had been that careless there likely would have been charges against them. It doesn't surprise me though sadly, most of the government is corrupt.

They did not.  He strongly implied that no prosecutor would bring the case to court because the evidence was not enough for a conviction.

What he actually said was, "those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now.”  He's not talking about legal measures, he's talking about being demoted, fired, losing security clearance, or something else along those lines.  Clinton, not being in office, isn't subject to most of that.

There are probably some political bullshit stuff they could do, like some kind of "Official Reprimand", but we'll have to see about that.

I saw this, they basically said that she broke all sorts of confidentiality laws, but that they would not recommend pressing charges. What? They also said that no lawyer would pursue because there is nothing to go on "She did not knowingly send or receive classified emails". So because she did it supposedly "Not knowing" she was doing it, she should be let off the hook? Complete BS, she should know the guidelines of the job, and was probably told not to send emails from a private server. I'm sure they could dig up the notices telling her she was not supposed to be doing so. No criminal gets off by saying "Well I didn't know it was against the law" WTF? TOO BAD, GO TO JAIL.

Actually the Republicans want another investigation because its a election year.  The more this continue in the press good or bad it still looks bad for Clinton.  So the smart political strategy is to keep it going, make ads about it during the run up for presidency and attempt to make this more than what it is.  Nothing wrong with the stragety since most people really only believe what they see on TV and not do any type of fact checking to discern truth from half truth to absolute lies.

I don't get this whole affair.

Were any of the mails containing classified information hacked and leaked?

What would have been the motive for Hilary to leak bits of classified information if that's the main allegation, that she leaked classified information on purpose? Could somebody explain what she would gain from doing that?

Or is the allegation that she was just careless?
