Is the same Link on both pictures.

34 years playing games.

Um...they're the same link. Aonuma and Miyamoto referred to both links as "He".

Not every  story  has to involve playing as a female protagonist either! Amazing right? We shouldn't force both genders being playable in every game. It's like saying an author who writes a story with a female protagonist should be forced to write a variant with a male version too. There can be variation in genders. A lot of new games are coming out with amazing female only protagonist, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for male only protagonist.

Oh good god, people, how many times does Nintendo have to say this Link is still a dude?

Would be cool if we can change Link's hairstyle and wardrobe in this game. I want Link to be pretty.

Yeah Link's a bloke, but I think this could hint at Nintendo including a female character for people to play as a choice.

There are no females in any of those pics.

Mother of Hylia, even here this stupidity has reached. *sighs*

It seems people need some serious classes, on light, angle, and hair. The faces are a perfect match to each other, the differences here are the light that is hitting Link and the angle he is in. The sun hitting him on the lower part of his face makes his lips almost unnoticeable giving him a look of smaller lipd, but f you lookk closely it is the same lips. The nose is an obvious angle difference. The case is, that it is clear that by facial structure they are the same Link, only in different angle, position, expression, and amount and direction of light hitting them.

Now for the hair, in the new artwork, we can see how Link's hair would look when he has his head to th eback, and surprise surprise, what where the middle "bangs" are now looking completely horizontal, like the image to the right, and guess what, that is what naturally happens to hair. I'm a guy with longish hair, and I do get a similar effect to what happens to Link. If I were to be in the same position as Link, in a horse that just got on only its two hind legs, my hair would look just like that. The wind, force, and angle, would cause my "bang" to go majorly behind my ear, whatever is left would give out the illusion of being completely horizontal as Link in the picture. Meanwhile, what would be comparable in my hair to his sideburns, part of it would stay in place while another goes behind my ear partly while also being raised by my ear, which is exactly what is going on with Link now.

Also someone that seriously believe that is a FemLink, please explain this to me: If we are getting a male and female Link, then why is Link still looking as androgynous as ever? If we were getting a gender choice one would expect Link would look manlier than ever, unless you seriously believe the only difference between the two Links would be the division of the "bang". Because the "FemLink" is also as flat as the Link to the left.
