just a very small percentage of the gaming population/people intending to buy a PS4 next months will ever hear about the Neo and this confirmation of it's existance - there will be no impact in sales from this

Should be like the 3ds and n3ds. Games run on both, but the newer one runs certain games and also has better framerate/performance

So like I've been telling all the naysayers: it isn't rendering your PS4 moot. It's just a premium PS4 for 4K users.

Props for Sony confirming it which is quite a pro consumer move, they didnt have to.

I am dissapointed that they wont leave the old model and instead plan to price the PS4 Neo higher, i hope it still will cost 400€ and then the older model at 300€ if thats what they mean maybe.

Also i am hopping that the many games hes talking about consisting of exclusives like Bloodborne and Driveclub running in 60fps.

We are doomed with those Upgradable Consoles, I Hope that neither Microsoft or Sony will push those versions as Standart Versions.

This is a really proper course of action from them. Going at this year's biggest gaming event focusing on their main console that has the biggest user base.

After those statements it would seem that Neo is considerably more expensive than the old PS4. I mean who would buy the old one if the objectively better console is just 100 bucks more.

Also, Andrew House calls everyone not buying the Neo "not hardcore".

So they are skipping E3, just like Nintendo with the NX. Good or bad?
