So if the rumours are true and there is a beefier Xbox one console on the horizon then  microsoft will make sure it outperforms the Ps4 neo. The ps4 neo is 4.1 teraflops, I think microsoft may take a loss to reach a performance in excess of 5 teraflops.

It's gonna be staggered iterations now. XB2 will only bear the ps4k for a year or so before the PS5 beats the xb2 for a year or so.

reports say the XBO-2 will hover around 6 Teraflops so that would be a 50% boost over PSNeo.

I think the Xbox One-ii , will be faster.
But it ll release a year later, and cost more when it releases than the PS4 neo.

Deminishing returns on graphics power turned into precieved image quality.
I dont think it ll make as big a differnce, as people suspect, if one is 4.2 tflops, and the other 5.3 tflops.

if "scorpio" releases a year after "neo", then it should have better hardware

xbox ii should be better it's only a matter of by how much and at what price.

XBox 2 will be better. I get the sense XBox 2 is closer to a new console full stop by MS and not just a stop gap type thing.

Phil Spencer already said he doesn't want to do the whole XBox 1.5 thing.

Once you buy XB2 you'll be able to upgrade it as you want over time.

People need to get this straight.

The PS4 "GPU" is 18CUs @1.8+TF.
PS4k "GPU" 36CUs @ 4.1TF (more compute units and higher clock)

XB1 GPU is 12CUs @ 1.2+TF

If the XB1.5 GPU is going to be 6TF it would need to be packing 56 compute units!!!!!!

the ONLY card AMD has that has that many compute units is the R9 Fury. And that "GPU" costs $550.

$550. And we have not even started talking about the CPU.

I think some people need to get a little realistic.

This whole thing is based on speculation.   Kinda give credence to Phils 'creative' tweet.

I was on the verge of buying an Xbox1, but now I suppose I'll have to wait... Don't want to feel screwed like I did after buying the 3DS XL moments before the New 3DS was announced lol

I imagine Microsoft would like to outperform Sony's this time around.

What I'm really curious about is if the Nx will be able to compete with them, it sounds like it'll be weaker which would be a shame.
