Games are getting more stale sadly. I actually became a more multiplayer focus gamer.

As a Nintendo fan, I can only be excited because there's so much ground they have yet to cover. I'm looking forward to what they are coming up with.

So, no I haven't lost faith in gaming, and most people haven't seeing that the gaming industry is bigger than Music and Film combined. Granted, mobile has really beefed up that stat as of late.

I'm looking forward to Zelda U, FFVII, FFXV, Persona 5, any NX titles that have yet to be announced...I'm overall just excited about gaming. I mean, I don't play games often so I guess that's why I get excited when I get to play one.

Because Nintendo Fans don't buy third party games anymore.

20 years ago the most popular genre was platformers. Last gen it was military shooters, or Call of Duty, and everything was trying to be Call of Duty, even horror games like Dead Space. In this generation, however, you could apparently release a mascot platformer and still be successful.

And just last year we had The Witcher 3, MGS5 and Fallout 4 and non of were my game of the year.

Don't get me wrong, it's not the Ps2 era. But things could be far worse then they are now.

Never really had faith when it comes to gaming.

I just play games, and if companies do dumb crap, then ultimately, it is what it is .

I think this is a very healthy way to aproach things. But it also makes you a very boring member of Vgchartz.

Don't know why people have to be so dramatic about everyone. This isn't my favorite generation of gaming, but I've got a decent amount of games per year. And, as I'm getting older and moving towards a career, I have a little bit less time anyway.

Gaming has been great for me. Last gen the PS3 and to an extent the 360 had amazing games. The PS3 had tons of exclusive games I enjoyed and 360 had a few that caught my attention. Both had a great variety of multiplats.

This gen has been good for exclusives and while the multiplats are becoming more like each other, a lot of them going for the same crowd, Sony has provided with a quite varied and good lineup of exclusives. Not as good as PS3 but pretty good and now as I have a decent rig and Steam has great sales, its been good for my wallet when it comes to multiplats.

I have more games to play than I have time to play, currently have a backlog and yet to pick up Uncharted 4, Doom and Mirror's Edge and this year the lineup for games has already been really good.

I'm 33. I've seen, and played, games from ALL console generations. Stop whining. You may not like things now, but things will change. There is ALWAYS something to play. If you can't find anything, either gaming isn't for you or you have too much free time to sit around and judge. Maybe start being more active? The outside world is actually a fun place. You can always go back to board games too?

Except for all the times when they do. Which people like you conveniently ignore to fit your narrative.

I LOVE ICELAND!

I lose a bit when bad games get big sales.
