Forums - Sony Discussion - Does Naughty Dog think we are children?

It's kind of funny, though, isn't it? The idea that developers should err on the side of treating the people who play video-games as adults rather than as children.

The way we act, yeah, we are a bunch of fucking children honestly.

Progression hints usually pops in after an extended time of you exploring or being idle. It seems like a fairly minute thing, no need to open your third eye.

You seem like an overly sensitive or easily-offended person, relax man.

Game is rated M, yes?

No.

Hahaha, well I'll be damned. I was always under the impression that the games were rated M.

That's the second time you've corrected me by the way CGI. Good looking out.

No Zelda handholding meme yet?

I'm a pretty big Uncharted fanboy but even I wish the game would shut up with the button prompts and hints. From normal difficulty and higher they should be automatically disabled.

Wah, wah, wah....Uncharted 4 is harassing me with useless hints.

Wah, wah, wah.... Why won't games let me go at my own pace?

Wah, wah, wah... Why is Donald Trump wasting his time running for President?

Wah, wah, wah....We never did land on the moon, it was all faked.

Wah, wah, wah....The attack on 9/11 was an inside job perpetuated by the Bush administration.

This might be the dumbest post I've ever seen on this site

The game is giving me the most obvious hints all the time even with GAME HINTS TURNED OFF.

Stop dying.

Problem solved. I only get them, even with hints on (because I didn't care enough to turn them off), when I die. Puzzle hints barely show up for me either.

I'm also on the hardest non-Crushing difficulty, so it probably scales to your difficulty.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

You get a prompt for a hint when you take too much time wandering around or most likely when you die too, but if you don't press the arrow key, the hint isn't given.

So I don't see what the problem is.

Maybe you're simply not so good at playing video games... Because if you do get those hint prompt and complain about it, maybe you are one of those for whom those hints were created for.
