My main beef is that I simply don't like the way clowns/jesters look (dat nose!!), but hopefully Poppilo will grow on me.

Customisation coming back has sold me on these already! Will be getting the 'red' version (Sun) for the first time though, Moon's legendary is horrendous.

Grass to me looks ugly, but it's different. I like the cat though

Buying both versions and am going with the fire and grass starter. Hopefully the final evolutions look good. I like the tropical setting.

I wonder where Zygarde new forms e.t.c fit to all that...
Maybe Z is still a thing or they will omit to include this in a pokemon game which would be irrational, there is whole new story with Zygarde as protagonistic legendary! The Pokémon xy & z anime doesn't have the slightest hint about 7th gen! It will be complete new series for the 7th gen I assume!

Likely, sun and moon could have kalos region too, where the story of Zygarde will be taking place concurrently with the story of the aloha region! Didn't Pokémon GOLD AND SILVER had kanto along with jhoto?
