BvS wasn't promoted as aggressively as this movie has been. At least, from everything I've seen. One big thing going for it obviously is how marketable to kids it is. In fact, I've seen more commercials and ads for this movie with/for kids than I saw for BvS all combined.

One last point to add in to this silly "Marvel vs DC" thread is that I believe BvS opened with a $424 million WW weekend.

Based on credit and Friends reviews I will see BvS on Blu-ray. Based on the same criteria I will be seeing Civil War in the theaters next week. Maybe I'm the only one? But I doubt it

WEll... yeah BvS is entertaining but it's nowhere near the feels of the marvel stuff.

I've watched the movie (it already released in my contry) and I gotta say I'm not surprised at all. Civil Wars is fantastic as a film. Terrible adatation of the comic. Sure. But fantastic as a film. It's probably one of the most - if not the most - mature Marvel film so far. The characters finally feel tridimensional, at least for me. And all in all a great piece. Won't spoil anything. It's Probably amongs my top 3 MCU films so far.

BvS had a bunch of fan service but that's about it. Serious screenplay and editing problems. Serious perfomance issues. And I dunno, I didn't like it. I know a lot of people liked it, but I didn't. It was a mess.

Also while not Disney marvel...BvS will not beat Deadpool domestically. With China it may have been possible for deadpool to beat BvS overall as well.

Yea I never understood this. I always just loved super heroes.
