So I checked my messages earlier today and I realized that I had Alan Wake and American Nightmare in my inbox with Gears of War 3 and Judgement. I love this whole incentive deal Microsoft is giving for buying games digitally. Microsoft is officially killing it. I might have receieved the other games but I would have to check. Gears 3 and Judgement are in my queue. Its like getting six games for the price of two.  My Xbox One backlog is officially insanely huge now. I might not even be able to look at a lot of new games now.

I understand. I am the same way but when I got my PS3 last gen my Xbox 360 got some time on the shelf and then died (inevitably). I never finished Alan Wake so i'll finally have a chance to get to it. I never played Judgement either, so i'll be the judge of whether it sucks on its own (because theres games that suck and games that didnt suck but were just the worst of their franchise).

Definitely. I was wondering what they were going to do to assure us that going digital was the right thing to do. As for their free games every month, they are killing it there as well. You get two Xbox One games and two BC 360 games every month. Its killing my backlog. LOL

Sony needs to start getting creative, but I understand that they stream their games instead of emulating them unlike Microsoft. It might not turn out as well.

My backlog is growing insanely fast as well, so its a good time to be a gamer :). Hopefully Sony will offer something similar on the PS4, but they are a huge market leader now so I'm not to sure they have the incentive to do it.

True. I should be happy right now. If both of them were this giving I ould be buried in games. Luckily most of these games are short.

Can't you buy GoW Ult physical edition and still get the other GoW games?  How does this promote digital purchases?

No clue. I bought both of the games with my friend, but it was marketed heavily. Either way gamers are greatly compensated for buying the games. In the end its still a buyer incentive promotion. I definitely wouldn't have bought Quantum Break and the Ultimate edition of Gears so soon if they didnt come with all of the added extras. The Gears extras came only for a limited time as well as promoted. I apologize If In actual nature both had this deal because that would be misleading. Im just happy right now that I built up my Xbox One HDD space. Perhaps one day I will do the same with my PS4.
