I think we all walked away from Quantum Break feeling like this game needed more. Perhaps more missions, more weapons, more abilities, etc.

But for what it was, I had a blast. I enjoyed the story, I enjoyed the combat, I enjoyed exploring the levels to find hidden objects. I personally don't critique games for being short, my concern is did I have a good time during my playthrough. Long games generally pad out the experience with content that isn't compelling.

After I finished, I was left wanting more. I bought it just because it was on Win 10 store. Now over to replaying some episodes and capturing some cool time dodge and rush knockdowns.

Could we just simply call things the way they are? Quantum Break was a cool experiment, but not a very good game.

Because Metacritic is hot garbage, for a variety of reasons.  If you're not aware of it's flaws, there are plenty of threads that've talked about it in the past.   Read what they're writing, not just seeing random key words.  Also, read some of the reviews that metacritic uses, especially the lower and higher ones, to get a sense of what the reviewer is actually judging.

Also, notice these are peoples personal GOTY, up to this point.  They're not saying it will, they're simply saying it's their current choice.

I really want to play this game. Regardless of reviews, I think it's the coolest looking game so far this gen, but I just can't bring myself to spend $60 on a videogame. I even waited until the Witcher 3 was half priced to buy it, and I was hyped as hell for that game.
