So VGC is pretty much right ... This is not good enough!

so they sold 38 million, then ps4 is overtracked on vg charts and xone is at 22 million

I figured he just looked at the image embedded in the OP and transferred it to dollars. It can be confusing for those not "in the know" when you don't post the full results (presuming you want to make this the financial results thread).

Im meaning if we just left the numbers as seen on the front page that they wouldn't be overtracked by much seen as we are a month behind just change it to April 3rd week and call it fair lol

I'm wondering, could game development be considered R&D? I mean... it's development.... 
But when you exclude items, I'd say this is pretty good performance YoY imo. Also I think right about now would be a good time to buy SNE. I think when the forecast releases, its stock is gonna rise (wether it *should* rise or not is a different question). Yen seems to be strengthening, and the weak yen has really hit Sony hard in the last year due to a lot of dollar-denominated costs. Will be fun in a few weeks to see if I'm right! Although I'm holding SNE with a horizon of a few years rather than short term, so for me it doesn't change too much.
Great results for both Sony as a whole and Playstation

This is based of the statement from sony, who said that they delivered/ sold 40 million ps4 to retailers now and on the statement from ea which said that botch consoles delivered/sold to retailers 60 million units at the end of february

EA probably rounded up. Chances are they are approximating. And they probably are using shipment numbers like they do with their own sales figures.
