Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Why they have to launch zelda U and NX on the same day?

Then they are going to get the usual Nintendo fans. Would be better to have it in an event where Sony and MS fans are watching as well. I dont care about FFXV and I didnt know that SE had an event about it...

Any MS and Sony fan who won't watch it was never going to watch a similar event at E3 either, the point of these events is to invite media outlets who go on to report what was shown, because it's a dedicated event the's no other competing news. This is why NDs have become such a feature as the's often no competing news when they hit.

A tweet missed by the mass market. The only covered version this summer will be the Wii U one and the one in mind by everyone will be that one.

Eh, I'm betting that after E3 they wont even show Zelda again until the NX reveal.

Yea but are they just gonna spend 45 minutes or however long promoting one game and a couple of 3ds titles? I think taking a few minutes showing gameplay of color splash during their digital press conference wouldn't really cost much money and its essentially promotion.

There's also Sun/Moon which I'm sure they've been dead silent on up to this point for this very reason. They could probably talk about it and Zelda for 15 minutes each. Otherwise I think their presentation will either be much shorter or they just wont have one at all. They've already limited their showfloor showing so they can do the same with their presentation.

They watch it to compare all three. Also people who watch IGN or Gamespots coverage will see it.

Yep. Then forget completely about the Wii U version, which makes this E3 another worthless direct, like last year.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Maybe they don't have cool games ready for NX.

Comparing all 3 doesn't equal interest in all 3 that's what dedicated events weed out.

It promotes the NX version aswell, which is definitely why it's the sole focus.

Well they shouldnt weed out anyone. They could use all the views they can get. Not every MS and Sony fan are 100% loyal to their company of choice.

Those people who are open will be watching and following news that's the whole point, people don't just stick to E3 anymore like you think those days are long over.

Those days are far from over. What makes you think that?
