I love the idea of Norse mythology, though, I'd have a hell of allot more fun if it tackled Christian and Islamic mythology. Brutalizing Angels, tear the horn off Muhammad's Unicorn and using it to kill him in some absurdly bloody fashion...hell yeah.

Either way, the GoW series should move to a new set of mythology, it's run it's course with Greek gods, methinks.

Nothing against it being set on another mitologhy, greek has been explored enough on past games. Its just lame to place a rehashed Kratos in there, they could come up with a new original character.

I love norse mythology and I think a god of war game is perfect for it.
There's an abundance of cool norse characters.They could make 3 gow games with it.

I think Norse mythology is just not interesting enough. If you look at Egyptian, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Latin American mythologies it just doesn't hold up. The only mythology more boring are probably the Ambrahamic religions.

It's not confirmed that the protagonist in the new gow will be Kratos.

Maybe it's just a codename in development.

Then again, remember if you are a fan of a mythos, asking for a GOW setting in that methos is asking for your fav gods and goodess to be brutally dismembered.
