Forums - Gaming Discussion - So uh, what does Microsoft do now?

They're already getting hammered by the regular PS4 and the PS4.5 is going to be more than 3x beyond a XBOne.

Does MS wait for fall 2017 and launch XBox 2 full stop? 8 TFLOP Polaris + HBM2 RAM + upgradable architecture?

They take the beating, there's nothing more to it ...

Well so far MS is putting focus on titles on their system and BC, MS can't really do anything else, though it will be interesting to see which systems in the future are able to play the most games from both the past, present and future, all without paying to constantly stream them of course because there's the whole I want to own my games" deal constantly being used.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

I think MS like they did with the first XBox is going to bail on this generation cycle. They can't win it.

XBox 2 in fall 2017, full upgrade from XB1, 10 TFLOP processor (14nm) + 16GB HBM2 RAM, 2K-4K resolution support, 4K Blu-Ray, upgradable system, runs full Windows.

I think xbox is going to go full PC plattform within a few years

There is an interesting idea.

I'm not sure how much longer Microsoft will stay in the console business. I feel they lack the passion that Sony has, plus Microsoft have got the PC so I they really don't need it.

Well they could always phone up Amazon and see if they want to buy Xbox. Then they go and knock on Gabe's door, get their cheque book out and try to work out a deal for Steam. Then they just sit back and watch their gaming division make profit year after year from then on.

*Amazon get the call*

*Pulls up Amazon U.S. April bestsellers and general Amazon conversaion on chartz*

*Amazon Turns down offer*
