i didnt read the OP, but 4K and Nintendo together? It had to be a joke. Thanks for clearing that up.

More like 8th generation and 4k together is a joke already when current consoles can barely do 1080p without killing the framerate.

This is actually more than possible. The PS4 for example is more powerful than a Vita, PS3, a PS2, and a PSOne combined. Its also more powerful than the Wii U, Wii, GameCube, N64, SNES, NES (and every mobile unit they ever released) combined.

In fact the PS4 is more powerfull than all of the devices on this chart combined minus the Wii U.  A console with 2.1TFlops would be equal to almost every console every made combined without including the PS4.

Click "Miyamoto HD" on Google, the first article that pops out is that. Literally 2 seconds.

Well, NX could be 4K capable, but only for media content like Netflix and things like that. All they need is a GPU that supports H.265 and an HDMI 2.0 output (because DisplayPort 1.2 is rare in TVs).
