What PC Exclusive Are You Looking Forward To?

Forums - PC Discussion - What PC Exclusive Are You Looking Forward To?

The Banner Saga 2, Shadowrun 2, Half-Life 3 (überlol), Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Mount & Blade 2, Fortnite, Total War: Warhammer, Lost Ark, Star Citizen, The Bard's Tale 4, Torment: Tides of Numenera, Grim Dawn, Northern Shadow, KYN, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Escape from Tarkov.

Good times ahead, lots of good RPG's coming out, Escape from Tarkov looks badass as well, some of the folks from the STALKER team are rumored to be working on it as well. Mount & Blade 2 is another surefire hit, and Half-Life 3, of course, it it ever releases.

End of 2016 hardware sales:

Wii U: 15 million. PS4: 54 million. One: 30 million. 3DS: 64.8 million. PSVita: 15.2 million.

Ghost Song.

This Metroid-like is likely to get console ports like so many other indies.

Doesn't matter for the thread. It's PC exclusive until it isn't.

But I'll also say mother 4.

Well, this is new.

Read.

Well, exclusivity is not that important on a platform which gets usually the best version of a game (unless the devs screw it up), but I'm looking forward to these titles which will be at least timed exclusives (since no platform owner moneyhats the developers, every "PC exclusive" could go multi-platform later, if it makes sense to the developers).

Star Citizen  (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Torment: Tides of Numenera  (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

The Bard's Tale IV  (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Psychonauts 2 (PC version probably first, PS4 + Xbox versions later):

Dreamfall Chapters: Act 5 (PC version first, PS4 version will take a while, WiiU version canceled?):

Divinity: Original Sin 2 (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Battletech (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Obduction (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Asylum (PC version first, mobile versions later, other versions not yet announced):

The Journey Down: Chapter 3 (PC version first, iOS version later, other versions not yet announced):

The Mystery of Oak Island (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Kentucky Route Zero: Act 4 + 5 (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Unavowed (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Also some already release PC (timed?) exclusive already released this year:

X-COM 2 (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Grim Dawn (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Deponia: Doomsday (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

Shardlight (PC version first, other versions not yet announced):

...Kingdom Come: Deliverance is PC timed exclusive, but that one too.

Divinity OS 1 came to consoles, surely OS2 will come as well, this time hopefully in a timely manner.  Mount&Blade 2 will also likely come to consoles. In this video the Turkish creators say so https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPVsVaxXiSo

Divinity indeed came to consoles...a year and some later. D:OS2 will maybe come to consoles, this is KS funded game, as far as I know there was no mentioning of consoles. As for M&B II, I don't speak Turkish, so I have no idea what was said in that video - all outlets are treating it as PC exclusive, until console port launches, my bet is it will be considered as such.

Anyway, PC exclusives are mostly in specific genres - CRPGs, P&C adventure games, MMORPGs, MOBAs, turn-based war strategies, RTS, 4X and ocassional FPS (online or otherwise)...I'm sure I forgot some genres...

60 fps Mirror's Edge. Coming exclusively to PC end of May.

Planet Coaster. The game looks very promising. I am a big fan of Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 so i'm really looking forward to it.
