There would still be issues.  Every developer is trying to push each of their games to the highest graphical and processing level to attract the most number of gamers; and they know the other developers  are doing the same, so of course every AAA developer wants their game to look better than everybody elses.  If you increase the power capacity in the console, developers are just going to utilize all of the power to a tipping point like they're doing now; just like last gen even at the cost of performance and stable framerate.  Prioritization in game design is what ultimately decides how a game will both look and run.

But so few are willing to sacrifice how good a game looks regardless of how they are able to optimize their games.

As for the PC argument, you can always push a system to the brink that would impact performance.  Hypothetically if there were a universally built and affordable (also extremely powerful) PC that was required to run current gen games developers would be still be hitting a wall, because everybody else would be trying to outdo the other's good looking game.  

Coming back from the hypothetical, while a PC has higher limits than consoles, they're not uniform in any sense of the word either in marketing or developing, so developers aren't going to develop for the dispersed and much differentiated gaming rigs even if their games would look and play better.

At least both versions are in HD right? maybe not 1080p or 1080p all the time, but both above 720p with post processing. It's kind of disappointing of course after watching the Quantum Break DF analysis then watching this game and realize that SE is now falling behind a studio of less than 100 actual developers(total employees in the low hundreds) in how good a game can look in fast motion on the weaker console.

That's never going to happen. They don't have the sway to enforce something like that. No one does.

yeah great so i can rebuy Final Fantasy XV the remastered version for 60€ again on PS5.

 

PS4K isnt a rumor, Sony isnt saying anything about it and let all these sites spreading information. If it would be just a rumor they would have come out and denied it 

They can't Deny because they have Other thing to launch, not a PS4K, Nintendo, also does not Deny any of NX's Rumors, so according to those Sites, the NX, is a Toaster, a Upgradable Hardware, with Ultimate Streaming, Touch Screen, Handheld, Home Console, and more.

 

They just think that is a PS4K, because of Xbox's Announcement of Upgradable Hardware, Sony isn't Stupid enough to do this, and they  are probably developing the PS5 Already, so there is no sense to develop a PS5, and a PS4K.

they would have used 720p strignt up but everyone would be upset since normal PS4 is all what exist

I'm not saying the game will be bad, but delivering such a dull demo doesn't make any service to a game that has been 10 years in development...I'm totally disappointed. We'll see the reviews when it gets released.
