Nintendo announces plans and launch of Miitomo and My Nintendo in Asia

SHANGHAI, China., April 2nd, 2015 – All Nintendo subordaries in Asia will be absorb into Nintendo of Asia, which will oversee all localizations, marketing, and distrbution of Nintendo products in the Asian sphere. Two localization studios - one in Shanghai, China and one in Seoul, Korea will be formed.

Alongside this monumental reconstructure, 'My Nintendo', a membership service will launch at the end of April alongside Miitomo, which will feature three more languages in a new update - Traditional/Simplified Chinese, and Korean. The Chinese version will have minor differences due to government policies, but we partnered with Tencent's popular service - WeChat - to provide support for the latest version of Miitomo. “With the new service's immenient launch, it is no doubt that Nintendo, as a brand, will move forward in Asia,” said Zheshi Jia, Nintendo of Asia Marketing Director.

Can't I add emulated games to my Steam library?? Basically the same thing right



Why would the Chinese Steam page have a completely English game description?



That's about $5.50 for an N64 game! I'm suspicious!
