I'm doing a bad job keeping up with this thread...almost fallen out of my buddy. DX

One Piece...wow..Luffy managed a near double KO against Katakuri. Guy has some insane stamina reserves. Really grew to like this villain though...so I hope he comes back after this arc. I suppose he'd have to though, since Big Mom is still a threat.

Shokugeki pushing that OTP hard. Not much else to say...looking forward to this arc to be done, though I'm also psyched for Souma/Erina tag team bout. Ending is obviously going to be something about group synergy but I don't care I've been waiting forever to see these two together.

Current My Hero Academia arc has been delightful. I like that it's embracing the school setting, and it's just been a lot of fun to read lately.

Also Eri needs to be protected forever.

Can't you subscribe to the thread to keep tabs on it? That's how I keep the anime thread around. Although I been slacking on posting there as well...

Also, I've really come to like Hatsukoi Zombie this time. It's just been a fun and enticing read. Seeing the different types of love zombies was cool to learn about, and watching Tarou and Ririto deal with them was fun to read. The characters are quite great as well, having their own funny quirks to them. Tarou is an interesting protagonist in that he's kind of the opposite of a usual protagonist. Not really attractive, rather meek and kind of a jerk, but I find that to be rather interesting. Kinda feels like a trend going on with these male leads, haha (at least with another certain character from a different manga).

I feel I could go on for a bit longer, but yeah, really enjoying it, haha. Also, I've really come to love Eve. She's just so sweet and always doing something silly on the side or making funny faces xD

Eve is just a really sweet and friendly girl.  It's impossible not to like her.  It makes me happy when she is happy.

This is one of those rare instances where I like everyone and pull for a different girl from one moment to the next.  Ebino is a really good person who is always helping someone and the other one is so cute when she gets flustered.

I've noticed that the artist is really, really good at expressions.  It's not even overt, it's just that whatever expressions the characters have communicates what they're feeling so well.  The happy and funny faces, especially.

And Tarou's shirts kill me.

Attack on Titan chapter 103

This continues the streak of having Attack On Titan being my most anticipated chapter since the ending of chapter 98.

and boy what a chapter.

Finally got post-time skip Armin, and looks like he is rocking a pony tail, but no colossal titan form yet.

and Levi rekt Zeke again LOL, though I don't think Zeke is down for the count.

DAMN Sasha!!! she took out the gunners in Pieck's tank, though I am curious if Pieck is actually dead.

I get the feeling Gabi is gonna shot and killed Jean; Isayama did teased a major death and how fitting it would be if one of the 104th cadets died during chapter 104?

I was surprised at how fast things happened. It seemed like Levi was right there in front of Galliard in one scene, and then cutting down Zeke in the next. Or was that someone else against Galliard?

Pretty sure Zeke is faking it...or he's just not finished yet. I want to know what the deal was with the baseball mitt Eren received.

Really intense chapter though @_@ I wonder if you're right about that 104 theory..*sweats*

Yeah, there are moments where the expressions are very simple, like just ": )"  or  "> : o" but man, do they just look so funny. Always cracks me up. xD

One thing I really like with the artist's style how they draw the 1st love zombies. They do really well with the flow of their clothing and hair. Also, I'm impressed with how they can draw the characters in various poses and angles and still pull it off well. It's something that fills me with awe when I see it, especially on pages that are full of them.

Also, gosh darn Eve here. xD She just kills me at that bottom panel.

I have a feeling that they've done a LOT of ... research on drawing girls.  It must have been difficult.  I salute them.

Oh, wow.  I just found out that it's the same mangaka behind Himegoto: Juukyuusai no Seifuku.  I never would have realized.  Not only are the story and characters very different but so is the art-style.  Himegoto is a very adult manga about college students with damaging social and identity disorders.

Actually, now that I think about it, the main character in that is a girl who acts and dresses like a boy but feels like she has become trapped in that role despite her own desires ...

Yeah, I'd get a little uncomfortable looking at that kinda ref, so I applaud artists who can get past that.... or it's an excuse to look at that sort of stuff xD "Oh, this is just research...! Yeah!"

Dang, the previous work sounds like a total 180 to this one. Now I'm curious to give it a look to see how it compares to this one.

Well, that bittersweet moment that eventually happens to all manga has finally happened to one of my current favorite: ReLIFE, has come to an end.

It is indeed bittersweet for me, as I started reading it when it was just getting started. It was only a couple of chapters in, and I happened to stumble into this one on manga homepage. The premise seemed interesting: The story of a 27 year old man who struggles to find work after he quit his previous job of only 3 months. Being at his lowest state, he meets a man named Yoake Ryou, part of a research institute called 'ReLIFE', which offers him a chance to take part in an experiment to return to his appearance as a 17 year old and relive 1 year of high school, with the promise of if he successfully completes, they will help him find employment. It caught my interest, so I decided to give it a read. A few years later, here I am, happily, yet sadly reading the final chapter. Part of my wishes it could go on just a little longer, but like all things, everything has to come to an end eventually, and this was a very enjoyable, endearing read. I'm gonna miss seeing the updates on Sunday evenings... I hope to see the author do another story in the future. I'd definitely give that a shot too.
