A must have for those who didn't play the gamecube or wii version

Must-have for anyone.

I still have my Gamecube version but I'm really looking forward to playing the new one. Just a couple more hours....

i got it because I never finished TP and just played it 9 years ago on wii.
Its a compelete new game to me, I remember nothing so far.

Have to admit its really lazy work so. Graphics are on gamecube level.
They didnt included a manual in it (just electronic one, come one nintendo...)
Still charge 45€ for it.
Remasters on Xbox and PS arnt better, but they give you way more content for your money in general (Halo MCC, Uncharted NDC are several games for that priece with the same work into it).

To be honest, TPHD should had looked like this is they want charge 45 bucks.

Its a HD port. Its not a remaster like TLOU:R was. Its also not a remake like FF7:R. I think you may have been expecting too much outta this game man

Preordered the game at Gamestop so I got the soundtrack selection in addition to the amiibo bundle. The CD is pretty nice with 20 tracks, and the amiibo is easily one of my favorite yet and has great build quality.

As for the game, I've played a few hours of it and got to the Forest Temple. I played TP on the Wii a year or so ago, and I'm enjoying this version significantly more so far. The beginning is still a bit of a slog, but the improvements are very visible.

It not lazy work, its actually solid HD port, but you can't really expect that HD port of GameCube game look good for today standards. WW HD looks great even for today standards because have timeless art style that aged great, that isnt case with TP.

You can see big difference between original TP and TP HD.

Actually, it is a remaster.  It is the the very embodiment of such:  the original taken and given a fresh coat of paint and such other improvements the game engine (which is over 12 years old and originally built for WW which had far simpler geometry) can allow.  What you mean is it's not a remake, and no it isn't.

And as remasters go, it's hardly lazy.  Every texture has been redone, interior geometry has seen substantial improvement, lighting has been reworked, and of course the AA and increased resolution make the image very sharp and clean.

And no.  These are NOT GameCube level graphics.  I just played Metroid Prime via the Trilogy version and no, just no.  TPHD is miles better.  It's about in line with Oblivion and other ~2007 games of similar scope on the 360 and PS3, with simpler geometry offset by sharper textures.  It's definitely a big step over the Wii version that's for sure.

I'm not here to throw flames at TLoU: R but TPHD is waaaaaaaaaaay more of a leap than that game!  Yeah, there are some great values out there like MCC or Nathan Drake Collection but I don't feel cheated at all buying TPHD (with my first Amiibo!) _for $60.

If they charge full priece for the game, they should put as many effort into it as in any other game they charge full priece for.
