The pokémon company confirmed Pokémon Sun/Moon for this holiday. It's almost confirmed to be the introduction of gen 7. Alot of ppl were disapointed by gen 6, while it did great things like introduce Fairy type, mega evolution and playing online is easier than ever, ppl also critisized it for the low number of new pokémons, the weak story and the close to none end-game content.

My question is, what do you want from gen7?

For me, there is 2 things. A better story. X/Y had a boring vanilla story about friendship. With no plot twist, obviously dull villains. Made me wonder as an adult if I did'nt outgrow the franchise...

The second thing. For similar reasons, I hope for a stronger rival. In the first two games, your rival was a total douche. He was the top dog and he knew it, constantly taunting you for being the underdog and always trying to put you down. I hated him. Everytime I faced him I wanted to kick his ass so bad. Everytimg he popped up I was thinking ''Oh no!'' knowing he was the trainer to beat and I was often already weak. Now, your rivals are lovy doovy friends of yours. They admire you and constantly praise you on how awsome you are. You are the top dog and your ''rival'' is the under dog. The result is that everytime he popped up I rolled my eyes and thought ''Oh no, not that noob again. Why won't he stop wasting my time''. And then once I defeated him, he would say things to me ''oh, you are so good, this is why you are my rival. Thank you for pushing me to my limit, you are such a good friend, I hope to be as awsome as you one day'' And I would think ''yeah,yeah. Just shut up already and let me go back to my journey noob''. The word ''rival'' stayed, but lets be real, they are no rival of yours. They are self proclaimed rival. No one cares about these noobs. That seriously diminish my enjoyment of the game.

Finally a harder game. I litteraly never lost a single time during my entire X and AS play thru. To be fair, I had exp-share on. Maybe I should turn it off.

Pokemon GO integration

More pokemon than the amount the 6th gen introduced. Get at least 100 plus megas. Also a bigger region would be nice. Recover the Battle Frontier from Emeral (the best Battle Frontier) and you got a winner.

Oooh, that's a good one. Like the Pokewalker with HG/SS. I'm sure they will do it somehow, they know Go might attract a lot of people to the games again.

The reasons I never complained about the low amount of new pokémons in gen6 was mega evolutions. I feel their is anough pokémons already, at some point it gets rediculous, both by the amount and the design of new pokémons. Don't get me wrong, I still expect and want new pokémons, but I think thanks to mega evolution, they can make fewer new pokémons while giving old ones a new life.

Altho, I think there is no way they will make a 100+ new megas for Sun/Moon. I say 30tops, and I think I'm being to generous :P

100 new pokemon plus some megas is not that implausible. I know there are a lot of pokemon as it is, but I don't think at least 100 per gen is that bad, as long as they are not forgettable (ejem lumineon, wormadam ejem).

To be a little more interesting/unique. Y version was my first traditional Pokemon game, and I can't remember much about my time with it. I've heard a lot from people that say that XY and part of ORAS were boring/not memorable, or at least they've held up that way. I might end up holding out for the definitive 3rd version (Star version, or Eclipse version, or whatever.) until I know what's up.

• High quality soundtrack (Ex: Vs Elite Four Kalos, Vs Team Plasma, Route 10 Unova, Vs Zinnia, Accumula Town, Sunnyshore City)
• Better vilain team (GOD PLEASE!)
• Baddass rival

A lot of post game content, a big battle frontier like the one in Pokemon Emerald, character customization returning and higher difficulty mode for the main story would be cool.
