I also vote for Uncharted, it is a safe bet.

Not that I think FF XV will be the best graphically, but I would like to take this opportunity to praise its dynamic lightning and weather system in particular. It truly makes the world comes to life, despite of some other graphical shortcomings. Games like Uncharted lack such a dynamism because of the nature of the game. So they don't wow me as much they used to.

^ ^ I forgot about FFXV! It does deserve a spot in this!

As a whole package, I'm certain it won't match the high-end PC games, or even exclusive consoles games. But it has strength points that are currently unmatched imo. The animation system and how it adapt to  little things in the environment is impressive. How the weather actually affect the way you play and fight. Excellent stuff. But that is not a thread for it, so I'll show myself out.

All great-looking games, though i feel there are too many games on there that just look too realistic, and perhaps not enough with a creative artstyle

Well out of those I already have TR and will be getting DOOM and DE, the rest I won't be though (especially not QB since it's W10 exclusive and eventually what Gears 4 will likely be as well). I do hope to see more games supporting Vulkan though. Also wondering when the exact date of Star Citizen will be so we can screenshot some of that nice looking game.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Yet another great thread CGI! Keeping tabs!

If Naughty Dog have a game out in a year then it's their game. Otherwise it's usually a Sony first party game.

I'd say, including PC, Uncharted 4 will probably take it, but it won't be as one sided as previous Uncharted release years were.

No just no it was never that one sided.

Also id say Quantum Break PC version will win easy. If them X1 shots look so good i can only imagine what the game will look like on PC running with DX 12, after that would be Rise of Tomb Raider PC version and then Uncharted 4 imo. However yes if we dont include PC i believe U4 will be the best looking console game in 2016. However if Star Citizin launches this year that could take the top spot.

Nah, Uncharted 4 will win. Quantum Break is just a port, no matter how optimized it is it will still look like the Xbox One game, just like Tomb Raider, no extra graphic fidelity.

My picks:

Uncharted 4

Ratchet and Clank

Horizon, best looking open world game imo

and FFXV, also cant wait for the inevitable pc port

If you include PC I think games like For Honor, Fable Legends and The Divisions are great contenders. Don't forget Battlefield and possibly Mass Effect that will release later this year. Just after seeing how impressive were SWBF graphics on PC I have no doubt PC will reign supreme once again.

On consoles thought I think Uncharted 4, Battlefield and possibly Gears 4... we'll see.

Mass Effect doesn't have any true footage, yet, Battlefield 5 has no....nothing , and The Division, if the beta is anything to go by, doesn't stand toe-to-toe with the above games. At least, not to me.

In regards to PC, by the end of April, I'll call a verdict on that month's battle (Quantum Break maxed out vs Uncharted 4). Then, if QB doesn't take it, DOOM and Mirror's Edge Catalyst release in May. Nothing again until August with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and after that (as of now), it's all console (unless Call of Duty *insert the rest here* is some, unforseen, blow-out)!

Gears 4 has no footage either ;)

But you just know that Dice's Frosbite 3 will destroy all mouahaha

Was The Division beta also available on PC or was it only for consoles

I must admit the new Doom art style is truly fantastic. All of the contenders are strong though, the only ones I WOULDNT pick are tomb raider, mirrors edge, quantum break and dues ex.
