Yeah, I agree with the sentiments here that some really strong single-player content would really perfect this series. The same concept of winning all the different cups in each racing category is becoming tired. Do something interesting with it.

Also definitely turn the game into a platform. Release it early on in the NX's lifespan and then keep updating it with new content (can be paid as long as it's reasonably priced) throughout the system's lifecycle. Mario Kart would really benefit from a continuous flow of new content.

They can add a story mode and add proper battle modes

The mechanics are already really good, so there isn't much needed to change or add

You have some pretty cool ideas guys. Between story mode, new modes, track editor, service-like game, new characters from Nintendo universe, etc. I think Nintendo will surprise us again with Mario Kart 9 (or X).

4k resolution gaming. great battle mode. a story mode. and cal it Smash Kart Racing. better kart part combination and have it more flexible in terms on how to differentiate fast against slow gliders, etc.

It should become a clone of Sonic Transforned. The superior kart racing title.

I agree with becoming a service, same goes for Smash Bros, Splatoon, Mario Maker.

I want a mission mode and I want all of Nintendo to join in on the race! Nintendo knows we want it after they teased us with MK8's Link and Animal Crossing characters. I think the natural thing to do would be to continue this trend. It could also become a huge production like Smash as many different composers and designers would be brought on board to create something amazing. It would freshen up the gameplay and effectively, a name change would be needed.

Anyway, what do you all mean my story mode? I mean if it's going to be like the mainline 2D n 3D Marios, then why even bother, but if it's on the same vein as Paper Mario, then I'd be all for it, but I don't see how they could do it with this being a racer n all, especially one where all characters are playable.
