Defiantly sounds like a reachable prediction, considering the line-up for 2016 They did 35.9 million in 2015 that's 19,1 million for 2016 I think that's possible.

Hahaha "Not Possible".   It is "Not possible" for it to go from 18.4m to 19m when its number of exclusices is doubling or even trippling?

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

should be a good year for ps4. quite certainly it's peak year.

2017 could be big too, maybe even bigger if thats when the slim version launches?

VR is simply another product (add on). it does not actually add value to the product and increase the sales as VR is a Niche product. Its at the intoduction stage..

20 million. Big excusives will definately move lot of console. I think biggest impact will be in Japan (DQXI, FFXV, Persona). 2.3 million in Japan alone.

Sounds like a safe and very attainable prediction to me. BUT....it will have NOTHING to do with VR IMO unless it turns into the next Kinect or something .

You guys say tame, I say realistic.

For PS4 I've never done a random outrageous prediction and hope it sticked by the end of the year, it might seem tame now that we're going into the 3rd year, but it was always carefully thought out, extrapolated from sales history of previous consoles.

I don't think PS4 will peak this year with 19M sold, it will be whatever first full year the Slim releases in.
