It's not like too many pokémon are in the game and Imo they should function like the amiibo in ssb.

Yeah, that would be cool, though I don't think I would buy of those line of amiibo. Maybe only Gengar? He's one of my fav pokemon.

Card version would be nice, as they won't have much function for other games :/

Starfox is next based on super Mario makers costumes. But yeah pokemon amiibos will arrive in some form eventually

If they made them compatible with Smash (unlock a trophy of that Pokemon and possibly use it to save fighter data on one of the Pokemon characters) and future games that would be great.

I absolutely love Pokemon, so I'd be tempted to buy them all. I'm also poor, though, so I'll only guarantee that I'll buy Quagsire if an amiibo of it is ever released.

But the Dark Mewtwo Amiibo Card is coming. Soooo they might do Pokemon Amiibo Cards for this game.

I hope they have a lineup of figurines, and not just cards like with Shadow Mewtwo.

Makes sense. They could make the Smash figurines compatible (Lucario, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Charizard, Greninja if it finally appears...).

Honestly, I would probably buy a Pachirisu amiibo. Good thing it'll never exist then!

EDIT: Well if the Pokken amiibo line included assist Pokemon, it would be pretty hard to resist Rotom and Togekiss, but I think I could hold out.
