Tri Force Heroes? Interesting.
If a lot of people really liked Tri Force Heroes, I guess we can't be ones to judge. It's not really even that surprising to me. Yeah, I also think that it was quite pleasant to see Xenoblade X be so popular. It's probably doing better than a lot of us thought it would a while ago, and if it would've launched on a console that was more powerful and competitive (hopefully what the NX will be), imagine the success it would achieve!
bet: lost
Hmmm, I can't argue with the Wii U top three even though Xenoblade would be my top pick. That 3ds list is kinda depressing though, didn't Majora's Mask and MH4U both release back in February? And Triforce Heroes is ok but not typical Zelda level of greatness.
Nice to Xenoblade X make it, despite being released only a couple of weeks ago

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
Go X!
Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever
Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe
Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor
Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile
A little surprised that Triforce was top 3 in the 3DS lineup, but I can't argue with these lists otherwise.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Ya 3DS software was a bit lackluster this year, a bunch of good games but not many great games, in terms of Nintendo published retail games in the US it looked something like this
February-Majora's Mask 3D
March-Codename STEAM, Fossil Fighters Frontier
April-Xenoblade Chronicles 3D
May-Puzzles & Dragons Z+Super Mario Edition
August-Little Battlers Experience
September-Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer
October-Chibi Robo: Zip Lash, Triforce Heroes
November-Yokai Watch, Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon
Monster Hunter 4 was the only real big 3rd party release with the rest being small niche Japanese games like Story of Seasons, Etrian Mystery Dungeon, Devil Survivor 2, Legend of Legacy or western games for young kids like Skylanders, Garfield Kart, Snoopy's Adventure, etc.
Edit: So 3DS lacked in terms of real big hitters this year but had a solid amount of good, small-mid size games which seems to be exactly the opposite of Wii U which had a few great games but lacks when it comes smaller support titles between big releases.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
What a terrible list for 3DS: I think many e-shop games might have been better choices than a Remake and a spin-off such as TH. to name one Boxboy! is an incredible game that takes a really simple concept and works around it in a really complicated way...
Yeah the 3DS line up this year was pretty bad (only bought Triforce Heroes which released this year). While in Japan they keep getting something awesome every month! Which that will be for us next year!
Pocky Lover Boy!
