Only have two Platinums in 2015 in The Walking Dead: Season 1 (which I played during the end of 2014 but finished on New Year's Day 2015) and The Order: 1886. I could have several more but video gaming hasn't been something I have been dying to do lately.

Don't care too much about Trophies (as in, I'm not gonna grind something for hours for a Trophy unless I enjoy doing it) but I got Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Driveclub and Rocket League in 2015.

Here is mine

-Play games for fun. But still play a lot of it
-Not doing achievements
-Have a life

I don't believe there is any link between not doing a certain thing and "having a life" more so, to come in this thread and suggest that people interested in something you aren't do not have this life you speak of? What's does the post hope to achieve I wonder other than replies telling you to shoo.

I'm not actually sure what the last games platinumbed were, Minecraft and Rogue Legacy I think (those remixed bosses were amazing  in that)

Not sure was Too Human maybe the hardest 1k point game I did, had to finish it completely without dying once. Or SF4 was tough as well. had to rank up every fighter online twice, was enjoyable way to learn new characters tho.

Call me old fashioned. But I think a game should not be a check list. Achievements/trophies just makes me sad.

Basically you have the easy ones, just here to give the player a reward and basically treat him like pavlov's dog.

And then you have the hard ones, just here to artificially create a longer playtime for the game.

Playing should be its own reward.

The last platinum I got was Grim Fandango remastered. Easy since I preferred tank controls anyway.
I haven't gone for any other plats this year, no other game inspired me enough.

Apparently my rarest trophy is from Kung fu Live.

Games are checklists by nature :p Trophies are merely a checklist on top of a checklist.

It's actually quite useful to remind me what games I have played over the years.
And sometimes they point to things you might have otherwise missed.
It's better when you unlock something useful though, like concept art or making of videos. I miss that.

Still zero explaination of why playing games with trophies means someone hasn't got a life and someone playing video games not focusing on them means they have a life.

That's why I said that original comment seemed like it added nothing to your post other than an attempted dig at those in the thread who do enjoy Achievement hunting.
