Forums - Gaming - Bethesda just keeps getting away with releasing broken games and the let the fans do the fixing.

Here, Falllout 4 on PC (left), PS4 (middle) and X1 (right)

Look at that, the X1 version does drop to 0fps, it might well be on its way to becoming "the new PS3 version of Skyrim", that´s unnaceptable. It´s just the same old story with Bethesda games, release (broken) games and let the mod community do the rest of the work for them.

I think they need to junk their old tech. In this game they basically bolted on the last id tech to their old Gamebryo/creation engine. That doesn't solve the problems caused by gamebryo being horribly outdated.

And you keep getting away with not understanding what "broken" means. Do you really think that just because you use hyperbole that it magically turns into the truth?

Perhaps Bethesda is just very partial to bribes? d: after how many games have had game breaking bugs.... and it's usually on whichever platform is farthest behind. Just sayin

And they get glowing reviews in the process...I think reviewers need to stop letting expectations determine their reviews, they do this with too many games just because they have expectations of them good and bad. Oh it's a Bethesda game, we can forgive them for that..

Lube Me Up

Starting to think that these so called joker journalists weren't taught math in college. The words and numbers don't match.

They really need to invest in a new engine, the game has issues Morrowind from over a decade ago had because they keep using the same engine with a few adjustments, giving it a new name doesn't mean old problems will disappear.

They've got ID Software ffs they pioneered good engines have them develop something more up to the task.

XO version is dropping 0fps holy shit...

People who can accept or ignore these performance issues can coexist with the people who don't. Don't direct your frustration on the fans, criticise the developers, call them on their short comings because that might lead to healthy discussion. Otherwise, you're intentionally opening a can of worms in an attempt to shame the people who will enjoy the game.
