Forums - Website Topics - Outdated Forum Index Descriptions

Ok, I don't know if I'm posting this on the right area and I'm sorry if I'm not.

But anyway, I'd like to point out something minor: the descriptions of the Forum Index are a bit outdated in some areas. For example, on the Playstation area this is the description: "The Playstation lounge. Discuss the PS1 / PS2 / PS3 / PSP". The PS4 is missing. On the Microsoft area this is the description: "Xbox / 360, Halo, XBL, Live Arcade - keep it all in here!". The XB1 is missing. Etc.

It would be cool to update these descriptions cause it may make the forum look a bit outdated.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

It's VGChartz; everything is outdated. This website needs an overhaul.

bet: lost

Huh good point. Never noticed that before. I'm guessing the categories were set up several years ago before the next gen consoles and things like the Vita existed.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Did you already checked the "news" and data on the Home section?
Stuff there is from 2011.

Ah, the home section.

"Latest from gamrFeed"
Last article? February 20th, 2012

"Latest from gamrReview"
Last review? Mass Effect 3...in 2012.

"Latest from gamrTV"
Last video? Something about Uncharted 3 DLC back when it was actually relevant.

"Chart Data"
The main system sales chart is up to date, but the other information is all from 2011. It is somehow older than any of the other content on the page.

Only the forum hot topics box, point leaderboard for the month, and friend activity feed seem to actually function 100% properly and be up to date. I honestly don't get how so much about the site can be out of date or completely non functional. I mean, as bad as the home screen is, littered with irrelevant options triggered by default, at least that can be edited down to only useful things. The rest of the site, you just have to deal with whatever is broken or out of date and hope somebody eventually makes it better.

I kind the vintage feel of "old school" Vgchartz.

Indeed, it could use an update.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Would change it if I could (I'd also remove the 'Home dashboard' section entirely while I was at it).

Truck could probably do it, will link him to the thread.

Thank you, I appreciate it.

I changed the descriptions for Sony and Microsoft. Anybody know if Live Arcade is still a thing for MS?
