Welcome To The VGChartz Ambassador Hub!

Hi VGChartz! You're probably sat there looking at those shiny new banners on some people and wondering just what is going on. Well, to get more information on that the place to look is here, Carl's thread. There you can see more information about who are the ambassadors (or you can scroll down, we each have a post and stuff) and exactly what we do. 

So...wait...what do we do exactly?

In short, just make threads and make the community the best it can be. We all have various different projects which you can see detailed below, we all have different styles (again, which you can see from the below) and we're all going to be working together to make VGC the very best it can possibly be. Why? Because we all love VGC, we all love the community (that's you guys reading this!) and we all want to make sure that the VGChartz that you get to browse, be you a lurker (in which case sign up and get stuck in, you really won't regret it...hopefully), a new member or someone from 2008. Everyone matters and without everyone, the community wouldn't be the same.

How Can I Help?

So we are here to produce quality new ideas which will feature something for everyone. There's also going to be a couple of other incentives on top of that...but, Platina can explain that system. We've got plenty of ideas but we're always looking for new ways to improve the site and to listen to what you want. As such, please please please post any ideas for threads you want to see, ideas you want implemented or anything else you feel can enhance the forums (unless it's a mod related issue; those still go to the official moderator email address). 

We will then listen and discuss those issues/requests, decide which are feasible, which are to be a priority and then work to make it a reality. We aren't promising anything but we hope to each be able to give you a thread or something of that ilk every week. Ofcourse, there's a lot of things that can change in that time but this is a good place to start. We're still a new team, we're all equal and there's still a lot to learn and to grow. So the biggest thing which we can have right now is your feedback; it truly is invaluable. Because, heck, we're here for you after all!

That seems like everything for me to go over. The other ambassadors will go into some additional information below, such as the points system, but for now I will cover some of my upcoming threads and also links to some previous ones. This will be the same for each ambassador and it will change frequently, so be sure to keep checking back!

Familiar with the NintenDomination Point System? Yes? Well, too bad, since I will still explain how this works.

Whenever there is a tournament or a thread that involves having points rewarded, users will get points for that thread. But not only that, points will be unified under this thread, meaning that all points earned will be accumulated! As this is not specific to one fanbase, it is encouraged for all people to participate to make these events more lively and a community.

Ambassador threads that involve a point system will specifically say, so you will know if a thread is part of this point system. Points can be accumulated and prizes could be redeemed (TBA) so think of this as an incentive of sorts. Point distribution will vary from thread to thread, so there is no specific breakdown on how to earn points.

Have suggestions or criticism? Let us know and we will take it into consideration!

Titles:

We would like to hear suggestions for titles when reaching a number of points, so if you have any, do share!

It is also planned to have monthly top users that earned the most points and possibily a Hall of Fame so stay tuned!

NintenDomination

I still plan on trying to be a helpful user to the NintenDomination, as I still plan on helping Platina help host more tournies for games, including Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros, Splatoon, and more. Be sure to stay tuned.

My Little Pony

I've also decided to start up a thread dedicated on a thread dedicated to the cartoon, My Little Pony, as it has had quite the cult following on the internet. I may do another shows in the future, but for now this is my focus. If you are already a fan of the show, great, but if not, I've made this thread as another way to communicate with other fellow users. If this doesn't interest you, that's completely fine.

This is just the beginning, remember that we are open to suggesstions, and depending on what you guys wanna see, we can try to implement it here!

How can you contact us? In short: wall posts, comments in this thread, PMs and contact via Skype are good ways to communicate with us. There are five ambassadors, so getting someone to answer shouldn't be too much of a problem at all. If you'd like to know any of our Skype information, just shoot us a PM! 

What kind of questions can we answer? Theoretically, most questions can be answered by us. Of course we don't know everything about sales and that kind of stuff, but if there's anything about the community, creating threads, updating sigs/avatars, etc. you need to know, don't be afraid to ask!

Ongoing/Existing Ideas: Iceland and I are planning a VGC Podcast, and I have an official Wii U All-Time eShop Chart Thread in mind, so keep a lookout for those! And of course I'll be creating regular threads that encourage discussion as I have before, preferably ones that are open to all fans rather than aimed at one group. Additionally, I have my official threads that I have been updating listed below, which include The Official Genei Ibun Roku #FE (SMTxFE) Thread, The Official Wii U Indie/eShop Thread and the Amazon Japan Thread!

In seriousness Icey is having computer issues in that he no longer has one which functions. So, yeah.
