That's what I've been saying before. A lot of times pacing ends up being the wait in between. Even if internally the episodes feel slow/weird. The week wait makes it worse. I see it as the DBZ/Naruto effect. Both shows are filled with tons of filler/shit episodes. Everyone wanted the shows dead when these would air. But watching the shows now, when they have no waiting. Those fillers are fine. I personally never have issues, for this reason.

Yeah DB/DBZ are perfect examples of shows that kind of benefit from the pacing. It either works or it doesn't and in the case of DBZ and The Walking Dead imo it definitely works. It feels less cheap and you feel more connected to the characters which in turn helps you enlighteningly understand their decision making. Of course this kind of pacing wouldn't benefit all entertainment which is why this show is not for everyone. The Walking Dead is how it is meant to be and if the direction were to change you'd alienate the consumers and the show would have an identity crisis.

If someone doesn't like the pacing of DB or TWD then...oh well?

Why the fuck no one does as in Season 1 and cover up in zombie guts and shit to pass unnoticed between zombies?

Fear that it will coincidentally start raining again? And they are afraid of water?

Carol did it once but yeah I agree. Plus also why isn't morgan setting up his traps he had set up in his own place.

He must be scared he could kill someone with them.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

illrelavent to my comment. You might as well go blame scifi fans for not pursuing nelson boxes more. I'm talking about numbers. Not bitching Stargate Universe got cancelled.

eerh thy get distirbuted you cant request one lol. point I am making ratings arn't accurate like the number on here.

Also bigger networks have cancelled shows with way more viewers than Stargate but you never saw them spenidng millions per episode either. The reason being is the actors get paid the big bux so their is less to put into the filming.

You're still blaming the box. You're just saying their's less scifi fans than everything else? Which causes the bias for said shows? Then you're saying Scifi isn't as popular. And I hate when some other genere is. "...familes get the boxes lol." So somehow scifi fans can't have familes or something?

The actors that have been on Walking dead since day one have just reached their 6th season. And most of the actors on TWD are killed off a lot. The SG1 actors are actually more expensive than the TWD actors. Due to the raises they get over time. Tapping and Judge would of had the most pay. Since they stayed all 10 seasons. And they were still pumping out effects more than TWD. Not to mention TWD is using locations and standard present day tech. Stargate is more expensive on the production side than TWD.

Building a alien world each week. Filming on forest locations, VFX everywhere. VS hiring zombie people, filming on locations, every now and then vfx, and just picking out normal earth stuff. Both shows are great. But Stargate pays a lot more and gets less viewership than TWD. TWD has a lot of leeway in doing good stories and great action bits.

What are you talking about? This season started with a bang. The first 3 episodes have a rating of 9.0, 9.5 and 9.7 on IMDb.

Yeah these first three episodes are the best start to any season imo.

What? Season 2 was AWFUL. The biggest thing in season two was figuring out who's baby was in Ricks wife's belly. It was basically daytime soap opera with some horror thrown in.

The Walking Dead was great in season one because it was about a few people surviving the end of times. Once they started to slow down to the point where people were fucking, getting pregnant, falling in love and aruging over stupid family issues, it ceased to about surviving and started to resemble something my mother would enjoy.

I am under the belief now that AMC did this intentionally to raise female viewer ship because when you look around, more women watch it now than men. And really, that should tell you something about the show because the average woman doesn't like zombie movies at all.

But there was a good deal of action and pacing to it. Rick was going through an epiphany; his wife was being a biatch, shane was on one side tryna make him a survivor, hershel and the other oldy were tryna make him more humane. It was slower than other seasons but paced well imo.

Right, but that makes it just a drama about life... not surviving the end of the world via zombies... which is what the show started out as.
