Scores are about what I expected, day 1 purchase for me.

You're the one who accused Nintendo outlets and the evidence you base it on is rather weak. Even if you look at Nintendoworldreport, who gave the highest score from Nintendo-only sites, their average score is still 4 points lower than the average gaming critic.

I stated that I wasn't surprised that three of the top five scores in the OP were from Nintendo outlets, and they are, you have consistently attempted to derail the thread to another topic, I gave you a warning and you have persisted.

I'm literally astounded by the power of metacritic to control perception ...

Seems to have very mixed reviews. Some very positive a lot thinking it's mediocre. I'd only risk it after a demo and considering awkward controls when moving around are a major crit that could put me off as I hate all the controls for all incarnations of resident evil.

Even with those reviews I'd still be willing to try it, but not for $50.

This, ive seen people say they are not buying a game after reading one bad review score, talk about brainwashed, Shaun Long of Nintendo Enthusiast said the game is awesome on his facebook page, end of the day people have different tastes and interests.
